Frequently asked questions

How do I log a session?

Open the app, tap the plus button on the home screen, choose your gym, and start adding climbs. Each climb takes a grade, an optional note, and the time you sent it. When you’re done, tap save and the session lands in your history.

Why is my gym missing?

We currently track 185 verified indoor gyms across Canada. If yours isn’t in the list, email us at climbnorthapp@gmail.com with the gym’s name and city. New gyms are added in batches with each app update.

How do I change my username?

Go to Settings, then Profile, then tap Username. Usernames are unique across ClimbNorth, so if your first choice is taken you’ll be asked to pick another.

Does ClimbNorth work offline?

Yes. You can log sessions, view your history, and browse the gym directory without an internet connection. New sessions are stored locally and synced to your account the next time you come online. The map screen requires a connection.

How do I delete my account?

You can request deletion from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing climbnorthapp@gmail.com. Full details are on the delete account page.

Is there a web version?

Not at the moment. ClimbNorth is built mobile-first for iOS and Android. This site is the marketing and support hub for the app. Your sessions live on your phone and in your account.
